This spring, singer and songwriter Noah Kahan is coming to share his music close to Hudson. Kahan will take the stage at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls on Tuesday, May 28th. This concert will be a part of his We’ll Be Here Forever North America Tour. The tour will begin in North America on March 26, 2024, in Vancouver and end on July 19, 2024, in Boston. This is planned to be Kahan’s biggest tour so far, as his sold-out 2022 and 2023 Stick Season Tour was immensely successful. This concert is a must-see if you are fond of good pop-folk music and captivating entertainment.
Kahan began his career in 2017 when he signed with Republic Records. That same year, he released his breakthrough single, “Hurt Somebody.” Kahan and Scott Harris wrote this song, which peaked high on multiple Billboard charts. After this single, Kahan released three albums. The first, Busyhead, featured popular songs like his previously released singles “Hurt Somebody” and “False Confidence.” His next album, I Was/I Am, was also popular, but it wasn’t until his most recent album, Stick Season, that Kahan became the highly recognized musician he is today.
Stick Season features the majority of Kahan’s most popular songs today. This album was released in October 2022, and it rose to fame due to the two singles, “Stick Season” and “Northern Attitude.” “Stick Season” was not released before the album, but Kahan used teasers of the song on social media to gain anticipation. “Northern Attitude” first saw the music industry a month before Stick Season dropped. This album, most impressively, peaked at third on the Billboard Top 200 and made it to first on the Billboard Top Alternative Albums and Top Rock Albums boards.
Most recently, in June, Kahan released an extended version of Stick Season. It was called “Stick Season, We’ll All Be Here Forever,” and it contained seven additional tracks and an extended version of the song “View Between Villages.” This extended version featured a song now viewed as one of the most popular songs Kahan has produced.
“Dial Drunk” was released in two different versions, one with just Kahan and the other with pop singer Post Malone. This addition to the pop singer’s repertoire intrigued many and made the song even higher on the Billboard charts. This extended album is mostly what Kahan’s upcoming tour is focused on.
Kahan has already brought excitement with his announcement of a tour, particularly in Ohio. Kahan’s concert at Blossom Music Center is highly anticipated, which shows in statistics. The concert sold out in a matter of days, with the ticket prices on resale websites skyrocketing. The concert tickets went on sale to the general public on Friday, September 29, and by October 4, it was sold out. As the prices are rising on resale websites, it is a good idea to buy them soon if you wish to go, but these tickets will likely stay on the websites until the day of the concert, so it is never too late. This anticipation the musician brings isn’t just because of his newer rise to fame but also because of the success of his concert at Blossom last year.
Another factor making Kahan’s concert special is that a portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold across the entire tour will be donated to The Busy Head Project. This is a fund through the Vermont Community Foundation, which Kahan created to support mental health organizations that provide people access to treatment and care.
The media currently holds the concert with high expectations, and there is no doubt Kahan won’t perform at his best. Kahan, who mostly directs his music to pop-folk lovers, has proved in the past that his concerts will be enjoyed by everyone, no matter their age or musical interests. This concert is definitely a must-see for all Hudson High School students.
