Downtown Hudson is the part of our town that shows off its history while giving people enough to do. It is filled with amazing places to eat, shop and hang out. Filled with local boutiques, weekly events on the green and historic buildings, Hudson is the place to go with your friends and family.
Mainstream Boutique is a fairly new place to shop in Hudson. It offers high quality clothes in a variety of styles. The boutique is incredible mainly because of its great atmosphere and environment. When you walk in, you are greeted by friendly staff and a modern feel to the inside.
One of Hudson’s most beloved shops is The Learned Owl. This book shop has three floors filled with books for all ages and has been around for decades, it is the perfect place to go if you are on the hunt for a great book. This place has a cozy, home-like feeling. If you are looking for a certain book, or just browsing to read, the staff is friendly and always open to helping, plus they have great staff picks for all to see. There are sections for certain books, and they offer many children’s books. As a bonus, all these books come at a great and fair price!
Downtown Hudson has anything you are looking for, whether its running shoes, groceries or a piece of art, you are guaranteed to find what you need.
Aside from shops, downtown Hudson also offers many food options, it’s loaded with food places for any feel, for example, Yours truly offers outdoor rooftop seating for the days with nice weather. Mrs. Siciliano says “I love their Monte Cristo meal and the notso fries, but all their food is delicious”. Some great food and drink places are Mings, Barrio, etc.
Mings has the perfect place to socialize and even study with friends while enjoying bubble tea, their menu has a variety of bubble teas, from frozen drinks to milk and fruit teas. This place is a super friendly spot to hang out at and gives a lively vibe with the fun decorations.
Barrio is the best place if you are looking for a part time job close by, or a quick family dinner. This is one of those spots that immediately grabs attention with the fun vibe and creative menu.
Community events like the Hudson farmers market, concerts on the green, seasonal fireworks, annual parades, and more show how important downtown is to Hudson’s identity, and reveal how lively the town is. Not a typical town in Ohio with Walmarts and Targets, there are a variety of small locally owned businesses, and the perfect places to hang out at. Downtown Hudson carries the look of an old fashioned, small-town. Bringing people together, Downtown shows how small towns can be just as vibrant as big cities.
