Ellie Firzlaff, a Junior at Hudson High School, has been writing for The Explorer for her second year now. Last year she took journalism A and B. Within the past journalism classes, Ellie spoke on school related topics as well as controversial topics, and plans to do the same this year! Ellie finds herself filling her extra time with her best friends. Her most pationable hobbies are shopping, tanning, and traveling. Ellie has a strong devotion to animals. Including her new puppy, Brutus, who is 11 weeks old and a Silver Lab mix; her dog, Abbey, who is a Goldendoodle mini and 11 years old; her two cats, Sophie and Jack, who are Mackerel Tabby cats and 12 years old; Ellie also appreciates time spent with her family; including, her dad, mom, and sister, Katie. Katie is 21 years old and attending Kent State University. Ellie is beyond grateful and excited for the opportunity to be in journalism this year.
