Maia Anderson is a senior and it’s her first year writing for The Explorer. She is a French exchange student who lives three hours south of Paris in a small city called Blois. She plays rugby and enjoys biking and sports in general. In her free time she enjoys watching soccer and woodworking with her dad. She used to rock climb and run regularly. She is a French scout and still tries to be involved with her group in spite of the distance and time zone. She also goes to a lot of political protests and fights for what she believes is right. She is fluent in French and English and knows a little bit of German and Arabic. She doesn’t know yet whether she wants to go back in France and finish her bacholoria (French graduation) or go to college here in the states.
