U.S. President Joe Biden, 80, appears intent on running for re-election in 2024, as concerns grow among his own party’s ranks about his state of health. According to data from Issues & Insights (I&I/TIPP), 64% of voters are concerned about the president’s mental health, which is up 5 points from the previous poll conducted in September. The pollster conducted the research in the wake of recent appearances in which Biden has struggled to speak and move and has also been confused by information, such as the death of his own son, claiming he died in Iraq, when he actually died of cancer in 2015.
The president has been making constant mistakes, which worries experts, since he came into power. In July of this year, he claimed that he had skin cancer due to the consequences of environmental pollution. But his doctor Kevil O’Connor published a report where he assures that “there are no suspicious areas of skin cancer at this moment.” Also, last July, Biden asked the population to vote in the legislative elections to limit the power of the Supreme Court. “For God’s sake, there’s an election in November, vote, vote, vote!” the president asked as he read the message on a screen behind the camera. Finally, he read down to the prompts, “End quote. Repeat the line,” he exclaimed.
Likewise, his lapses are alarming, which are not typical of a head of state fit for office. Some weeks ago he said that he entered the Senate “720 years ago,” when in fact it happened 48 years ago. Another media moment occurred when he claimed in a speech in Pennsylvania that he visited 54 states when talking about the Affordable Care Act, when there are only 50 states. Nor should we forget when, during the month of September, he asked about Congresswoman Jackie Walorski, who died in a traffic accident a few weeks ago.
What we know for sure is that since he took office, we see more and more occasions and videos where he waves at the air, stumbles on the stairs of his plane or gets disoriented in public appearances. We have even seen situations that make a fool of the country in front of international leaders, such as when he fell asleep during the climate summit in November 2021. Unfortunately, this is not the first time the president has fallen asleep in a public appearance, as he did in a meeting at the White House while being addressed by the Israeli prime minister or when he was interviewed on MSNBC.
In addition, we have witnessed Biden fall off a bicycle that was not moving when he lost his balance. To give an idea of the seriousness of the matter, in less than five minutes anyone can find more than 100 videos of the president making a fool of himself in pubic. It is very disturbing and leaves the United States in a weak position in front of the rest of the world.
In the New York Post, U.S. physician Marc Siegel, said the country deserves answers about Biden’s cognitive function. “Of most concern is the area of executive function, which includes the ability to plan, perform tasks, focus on detailed information and, above all, make decisions. It goes without saying that the president as the chief executive of this country must have a very high level of executive ability,” he said.
The physician expressed concern about Biden’s latest physical examination by Dr. Kevin O’Connor, which specified the president’s increasingly stiff gait, which he attributed to degenerative arthritis.
Clearly, we are dealing with a president incapable of making decisions that affect the lives of every man and woman on the planet. What is confusing is that the media has very little coverage of these lapses that are obviously concerning. It’s amazing how just a few years ago, the media didn’t waste a minute in dedicating programs for hours, and exhaustive investigations to Trump, when he was president. And no, this is not about ideologies, nor parties. This is about the fact that there is no one at the wheel in the Oval Office, or worse, we don’t know who is pulling the strings of the puppet that Joe Biden has become.
The life of the president of the most important country in the world, the United States, is anything but quiet. We are talking about long working days, little rest at night and above all, the obligation to make hundreds of important decisions every day.
It is clear that Biden is not able to read a teleprompter correctly, and he gets confused calling Kamala Harris “president” on three occasions, it is impossible for him to have the neural functions required for the most important position in the world. It is clear that he is not making any decisions and is simply a puppet controlled by the establishment and his party.
It doesn’t matter what political party Biden falls under – it is simply important that congress should subject the president to a detailed investigation of his health and his ability in all the decisions he has made during his term, and in the case of proving what we all fear, the government should use the 25th amendment or subject the president to an impeachment. At the moment, it seems that the Republicans are preparing congressional investigations after they achieved a majority in the elections held in November, although they have not yet detailed concretely how these investigations will be carried out.
This article has mentioned only some of the alarming episodes of the president, but if you were to conduct a little research, you will find many more videos that call into question the health of the oldest president in history. It is clear that a senile man who is always disoriented and who shows a certain dementia cannot carry out the responsibilities of the rightful office. We citizens must demand transparency and investigation; we deserve to know the results of a cognitive test. This is not the first time a president’s illness has been hidden while in office – it was done with Kennedy and Roosevelt – I am sure the same thing is happening with Biden. The people deserve to know the truth, and they deserve to know if the person with access to the nuclear briefcase is capable of running the country.
Joe, the time has come for you to retire, for the good of the country.
