Hudson High School senior Linsday Peterson has been perceived around the school as a role model for many students. Peterson has done so much, and she is deserving of the future she holds. From cheerleader to advocate for nature, Peterson is an all-around student.

Peterson has been involved in cheerleading for Hudson High School. During this time, she made a lot of friends that stuck with her for her high school experience. She says that she “couldn’t survive high school without my friends. They got me through my hardest times and made the good ones that much better.”

During high school, friends really make the school year and help make school that much more fun. Through her time at cheer, Peterson has grown so much as a person and as an athlete.

Lindsay Peterson has been a part of cheerleading for years and has stayed devoted to the team all throughout high school. Used with permission/Lindsay Peterson.

Being nominated for Homecoming Court is an honor that Peterson upheld. She is the perfect example of someone who checks every box. Peterson notes that her biggest accomplishment is her service hours. She is a part of the Service Learning classes and completed 250+ hours of service in the community, earning her a gold medal at graduation. Also, she says that her favorite activity during high school was Vocal Impact, Hudson High School’s show choir. Regarding clubs, she is part of Outdoor Society, a club advocating the importance of nature. With all of these major accomplishments and participation in school extracurriculars, there is no doubt that she is devoted to Hudson and earned her place on the Homecoming Court.

Peterson gives advice to current high school students as well as incoming, remarking, “There are so many chapters of life, so don’t let yourself believe that the bad times are always going to stick around.” High school can fluctuate from good and bad, but she believes that with the right group of people, the bad is tolerable.

Peterson has overall been someone who many can aspire to be. From all of her achievements to just being the person she is, her impact on HHS will forever be remembered. She plans to pursue media production in college. Thank you, Lindsay, for the person you have become and we are all so excited to see where you go in life!
